The Upward Movement

Movement Up Instead Of Forward
An Upist does not operate on any of the waveforms of the left-right-center political spectrum. We position ourselves above this option-limiting spectrum. So, we are allowed to see things from not within, but at a vantage point where we can look down and observe the entire scope of our countries politics. We take a positive stance, stemming from logic and reason, on major and minor issues that affect human lives. We are not a political party and do not participate in the rhetoric of existing parties. We work in the interest of all people; not specific groups and organizations.

Separation of Church and State
Laws and policies made by public officials must not be based on religious ideology. Religious ideologies must not be used to influence the public for political gain. Homosexuals and other minority groups are denied rights based on religious beliefs, which is prohibited by the first amendment. The country's founders escaped religious persecution to establish a nation where such persecution would not be tolerated; we also will not tolerate it.

Crime
To properly fight crime, we need to be more proactive than reactive. The circumstances that cause individuals to revert to crime must end. Improving education and economic situations will cause a significant drop in crime. Prisons and jails should not be privatized or used as human storage containers. Incarceration should be used as an opportunity to rehabilitate and educate the offenders so that upon release they are productive members of society. Funds derived from fines, parole, and probation can no longer be incentive to force citizens into and/or trap them in the criminal justice system.

Education
Every child deserves a high quality, well-funded education no matter what community in which they reside. Students deserve state-of-the-art technology, books, and curriculum. School boards should consist of members whom are professionals in every subject matter. This will be incentive for educators to excel in and around the classroom, for an opportunity to become members of the board. Members of the board are not elected by the general public. They should be nominated and voted on by members of the education community. Districts should be funded based upon the number of students in each district. Schools should then be funded by the number of students in each school. Charter schools should be abolished, because providing education is not for personal profit.

Economy
For far too long, profits have been put before the needs of humanity. Economic systems should be used to benefit society as whole and not a few wealthy, ruthless businessmen. Corporations should not be allotted the same rights as private citizens. Doing so creates a situation where government is controlled by those corporations and not by the people as the constitution intended. Regulation must be used only when the actions of corporations trample on the rights and lives of men, women, and children. Every working-aged citizen is entitled to a decent wage efficient enough to provide them with food, housing, utilities, and transportation, whether public or private. Having every able adult employed with decent wages drastically reduces crime and poverty which in turn increases funds available for those who are incapable of or seeking employment.

National Security & Foreign Policy
Wars should only be fought to maintain the independence and freedom of our nation from an imminent threat. Creating an enemy in order to reap war profits and limit civil liberties for citizens is neither national defense nor good foreign policy. This only justifies the actions of so-called radicals, extremists and/or terrorists. We need to cease the exploitation of resources of sovereign nations, stop meddling in their civil affairs, end our military occupations, and focus on dealing with domestic issues. This will not only enhance national security and benefit us economically, but it will also leave more time, money, and effort for the most important entity in our nation--the people.

The Truth About Gay Marriage & Abortion

By J.R. Junior

The debates over gay marriage and abortion is not a question of what is morally right or wrong, yet we often hear one side's continuous usage of the term American values. First, we must realize what these people mean when they say American values. Values has been twisted to mean what IS morally right. This gives the impression that if you are an opponent of these so-called values you are against what is morally right. American has come to mean "of the United States of America." This, too, has been intentionally manipulated. America, on a global scale, is nothing more than a corporation operating throughout the entire planet. Every maneuver is strictly for the purpose of elevating the economy of America above other corporations of the world to improve the luxuries of the owners of the corporation and shareholders; the owners being members of the Federal Reserve, and the shareholders being those who stand to benefit or perceived to benefit from the excellence of the corporation (shareholder=you). Considering this, values actually means monetary or material worth, as in commerce or trade. So, if you side with the "American values" argument you are pledging that you are concerned with the worth of America in an economic system--not morally.

When applied to the war waged against gay marriage and abortion, your stance is toward raising the value of America economically. For money to be put into the system and increase profitability, there needs to be more citizens to in-debt and extract tax dollars and labor to run the global machine from. By standing against abortion, you side with the owners of the country who see an increase in workers/consumers as an increase in taxes paid to them since the owners are paid through taxes and interest from loans.

Siding against gay marriage is no different. Two individuals filing taxes as single will, generally, pay more than a couple filing jointly. If the millions of homosexuals of the nation are allowed to file jointly, the salaries of the owners will decrease, because less taxes will be paid to them. This decreases the corporation's total worth or value.

So, be apprehensive of manipulators who twist the meaning of words and spin facts to appeal to the humanitarian within you. You may have the common goal--denying gays the right to marry and women the right to choose to abort--but your motives are completely different. They are using your desire for what is morally right (to you) to help them push agenda that is morally wrong. This is like your neighbor offering to take your child to school, because he feels the child needs to attend school. You probably would agree with him. But, what if he needed your child to attend school that day to increase casualties from the explosion he planned to set off? If these people have deceived you for this long into following them based on these issues, what else are they lying about? They are leading you astray. Don't follow or support these maleficent people... No telling where we'll end up. Wake Up & Smell The B.S.

Everybody Is Hurting Except The Bank

By J-One Royal Fam

The Fed just reported record profits in 2009
. About a year ago this wouldn't have meant anything to me. About 9 months ago, I would have thought that the recession was nearly over. Now, I know better, and this set off a BS alarm in my head. Without sounding "nutty", the aboved linked article mentioned that a few hundred people just made off with all of your hard work and savings last year. While others and I struggle for jobs in this downed "economy", those few elitist made more money in one quarter than we could imagine in our entire lifetimes. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a "conspiracy nut" to figure this out.

How a bank works is simple. You make a deposit and the bank creates almost 10 times that amount out of thin air and gives that out in loans that are paid with interest attached. That's right. You're paying interest on something your bank never had. Doing this over and over again to millions of people is going to make a few rich and almost everyone else poor. There is no way to pay all the interest back with the actual money currently in circulation (the money in our wallets and purses). What does this have to do with the Federal Reserve?

If you can grasp the basic understanding of how a regular bank works, think of the Fed or the "central bank" as the mothership of all the other banks and the bank that Congress gave the power to print our money. So when I say that money is created out of thin air, I mean the Fed literally creates money out of thin air. Just as we go to the nearest bank and ask for a loan, whenever the government needs money to do anything, it has come from the central bank--AT INTEREST. When I say the government, I mean your federal tax dollars. Putting this all together, that headline reads: "You gave Ben Bernanke (pay close attention to this video) and all of his cronies, 47 billion dollars and they gave it back to the government (you) at interest. So next year, if we can start another war or get you to like a big, huge government deal that will hurt you in the long run, that number can almost double, at your expense." That's too long of a headline, so the one you read will have to do.

Our money is debt and our deficit is caused by our necessity for that money. There is no way to balance it or pay it off; because if we did, there would be no money at all. The only way to free ourselves from this debt slave trade we call capitalism is to research all of this ourselves, speak out in some way, and tell others. Oh yeah...

America's Path To The Third World...

By J.R. Junior

We are on the path to becoming a third world country. Yes, this is a bold prediction, but all the evidence suggests so. The grand idea of capitalism is captivating--and as I have to admit--a necessity in the pursuit of greater technology, including medical advancement and creation of new medications. But since the introduction of oil as a fuel source, the fight has not been to better communities and societies. Oil has only driven the exercise of exploitation for resources. Oil has made it possible to reach any part of the globe in less than a day; we can even leave Earth even quicker for that matter. As power is put into the hands of individuals and corporations whom has the resources to reach and control certain resources of the world, animal instincts take control, and the power and greed consumes them. In combination with democracy, this will be proven to result in a disastrous outcome, since capitalism focuses on profits--and democracy tells us that we can do what we want, when we want, and where we want.

Before NAFTA, goods were manufactured by American companies that operated within American borders, and most of those manufacturing jobs were held by American citizens. Supporters of NAFTA argued that it must be created to expand trade between the North American countries (Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.). This was supposed to increase sales which in turn would make profits larger. And, profits did increase. But, eventually factories moved to Mexico and were imported to the U.S. instead of exported from. Mexican labor is much cheaper, so corporations found they could turn a bigger profit by hiring more workers--increasing production--and, still, maintain a significantly smaller payroll. And by operating outside of the U.S., they do not have to pay specific taxes and fees for regulation and inspection/certification fees. Safety is also not as big of an issue. So, what is lost here? American jobs and federal, state, and local taxes and revenue.

It is now a trend for U.S. based corporations to leave U.S. borders, either by outsourcing jobs oversees or manufacturing products completely outside of the U.S. Take a look at the products you most use day-to-day; your clothes, electronics, etc. are not made in the U.S. even though many of these are made by American companies. This leaves thousands to millions of citizens without work and the opportunity to participate in the great realm of capitalism. People cannot support their families or even themselves. The old saying is true: The rich get richer… The non-rich are, as a whole, getting poorer. So, less homes are bought, less small businesses are started, and tax revenue diminishes.

As taxes paid by the people decrease and dependence on social services increase, funding for those programs across the board suffers. We don’t have money for roads, schools, fire and crime fighting, defense, water, electricity, mail services… The list goes on and on. Some people may say that the “solution” is to privatize it all. Give me a break! If everything is privatized, government as a whole loses all power and the one percent seizes power, and that is the end of our false sense of democracy. Privatization is what got us where we are in the first place. Corporations want to make profits at all costs; actually that’s at “no costs”.

So, as an American, you must decide: Will I compete with the third world and work for a minimal wages (not minimum wage, the most THEY are willing to pay you) or remain unemployed? Will we continue to allow our jobs to be shipped overseas while the quality of life here in our home-country and there decrease? Look what is happening… States are broke. We have the biggest deficit in American history. Companies have been bailed out. Banking institutions and Wall St. are now thriving. Production has increased. Profits are up. Americans are still unemployed. Enough money is not put back into the American economy. People and corporations no longer pay taxes and this is not enough to maintain an economical balance.

Pretty soon the U.S. corporations will no longer need Americans for them to thrive. The world market is much larger, and there are a lot more people to exploit. That is why corporations are push to “spread democracy” to the many countries elsewhere. Americans will be reduced to rummaging through dumpsters to find food and clothing that was thrown away by the slave-wage workers who are employed by capitalism’s big wigs. The government will depend on those same companies for kickbacks.

The roles will be changed. Large corporations will not look towards their respective government for bailouts. The government will search for large corporations to bail IT out (just ignore the Federal Reserve for now…). Then, like all of the countries you know nothing about that are being used by corporations to turn a profit, the USA will stand in line to be raped… Right now, she is walking alone through the dark, empty ally. So, go ahead and privatize to finally realize that we will be run by the one percent who monopolize… Wake up And Smell The B.S. Otherwise, deal with smelling the piles of trash, hazardous materials, and decomposing bodies just outside your front door… if you can afford one.

J-One Royal Fam Says:

Here is yet another video that should spark your interests. This video, in a school child age nut-shell, just explained what J.R. just said. Watch this video!!! This video has been the subject of conservative talk radio and TV with the guise of: Indoctrination of our children.

Let me ask all of you a question. If someone, maybe a teacher or parent, told you how things worked in the world and gave you every tool and opportunity to help change or fix it would you? Or would you be like everyone else and demand from your parents the latest clothes, shoes and gadgets that we want and really don't need? Know your sub-conscious answer, how could you then call the people who are actually trying teach our children indoctrinators. This is starting to sound like my Obama's school speech article.

So then let me digress. Big business works because little people don't understand it. That lack of understanding lets big business do what anything they want to the little people, because the little people not only don't understand it, but want to be told how to spend there hard earned money. Now the dilemma: Big business took all the jobs away and we are now in a recession. But we still spend our money the same exact way. That is why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

If you watch the video, it explains how we outsource our "resources" and turn other countries into third worlds. That cycle does and will come around.

The question is: Are you going to let your kids learn how to fix it?
