Setting the stage to be able to understand how this is a form of self mutilation by our government is going to be fairly easy. Think back over one year ago when the lamest of the "lame duck" presidents was leaving office. An overwhelming majority of people were relieved that "neo"-America was coming to an end and "change" was on the horizon. To another group, on the other hand, this was the beginning of the end. The gravest travesty that nation has ever known, a BLACK president with a weird last name, talking about redistribution of wealth during the worst economic "crisis" since the great depression. Something had to change in the white house. Something had to change in Washington. Thus, the birth of the tea party movement!

In their defense, though I feel that most of them need none, this was actually a grassroots movement to let Washington know that people are watching what they do. Now they are a national "right-wing" phenomenon with celebrities like Sarah Palin and whole news organizations like 666 (Fox) News who have their back. Then something bad happened, one of them crashes a small plane into an IRS building. In the press, they didn't actually call him a tea party member but those of you who are seem to not know the origins of the Boston Tea Party.

To make a long story short, a group of "patriots" dressed up as native-Americans (which has its own implications), destroyed a merchant vessel full of "taxed" tea from Britain. The reason there was so much animosity against Britain at the time was because the colonists were trying to get away from the religious and financial oppression and start over. Britain, who was still very much involved with the colonization, didn't like how independent they were becoming and wanted to make sure they still payed what they "owed" to the King. The "tea party" as it was aptly named is and is only about, repealing unfair and oppressing taxes.

In essence, Joe Stack, is technically a Tea Partier"! He was a tax protester, as they are branding him in the media, who was so passionate about his ongoing feud with the infamous IRS, he took extreme, terroristic measures to make sure his voice was heard. This led me to the conclusion that the government is trying to forcefully shut the mouths of any "real" grassroots alternative movement or organization.

Check my logic: Last year, our country got rid of the closest thing to the Nazi regime since the Ku-Klux-Klan. I say this because president Bush was recreating history of the mid-twentieth century with such actions as preemptive wars, destruction of civil liberties with the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act, and blatant disrespect of our constitution. We remedy this with a man with the message of hope and the first black president of the United States. As most of the country was rejoicing, some folks from other parts of the country were not so enthused. Grassroot movements were starting to gain traction across America, the most publicised being the Tea Party movement. Granted, president Obama has not been on top of most, if not all, the financial decisions being made in Washington. Most of these decisions are not good for the country and is leading us into either another crisis, or creating another one down the road. None the less, there is a great divide forming within our nation with this political movement at the forefront.

What everyone need to understand at this point is that the Tea Party movement started to gain the wrong national attention. The dying republican party needed to find a new stronger base and took the tea party message as their own. 666 News was sponsoring televised events. Right-wing celebrities joined hand in hand are enabling this manipulated message. Now, the movement is not grassroots anymore. They are a fully funded, organized, hybrid, reincarnation of the republican party. Finally, a "tax protester" flies a plane into an IRS building because he is distraught over his battle with said named institution.

The ramifications of this are, without you knowing it, the government took out one of its biggest adversaries and transformed it into a new, hybrid, grassroots, political party. Then, purged anybody who wasn't going to stay with their new message. To finally, use the old plane in a building, terroristic "M.O.", to scare anyone with any type of anti-government talk to shut there mouths or be tied to this "deranged tax protester"!

If you are a tea party member and you spread any other message than unfair, oppressive taxes, you are most likely a libertarian and might need to change your political affinity. If you are an outspoken critic of the government and global affairs such as myself, we can either put up or shut up. There is obviously more at stake here then the infiltration of the Tea Party movement and "tax protesters" committing domestic terrorism. I will go into it more at a later date, but until that time:

I am getting the feeling that if you do not completely immerse yourself in Haiti by giving your prayers or your money (or lack thereof), then you are a godless American and do not deserve to be in this "Christian" nation. While I do feel sadness and sorrow for the lives lost and destroyed, I would like to try and pry your attention to our friends in the Middle East.

Their lives have been lost and destroyed by our hands and tax dollars for nearly a decade, and the only coverage they seem to gather is that a few of them are planing to attack us. I am not even going to mention the "terrorists" anymore; they get enough attention. I want all of you to know about the innocent children and civilians who lose there lives to a man-made disaster everyday. I want you to watch any sort of video of the pain and suffering that THEY have to go through. Where is the all-star cast of celebrities lining up to do a national TV event for the families in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and any other country our military or defense contracted military is "occupying"? Do you want to know where they are? In Haiti, grabbing your attention so they can grab your wallet! I thought we were in a recession anyway? That's another topic for another day coming very soon!

A lot of people consider what we do here conspiracy theory, and I can never understand why. I can never understand why we would put a price on one group of people's lives and completely ignore another, especially when WE are the ones who put them in that group. I never can understand why people don't want to get out of their shell of virtual reality and understand that life isn't so simple and the world isn't so small. I never can understand why we are deemed the crazy ones because we are willing to look outside the box and care for humanity, instead of watching Three Sixes News (this is what we will be calling Fox News from now on!) to form their opinion on the world. It's time to care, it's time to wake up, it's time to:

Since the failed Christmas day plane bombing, I've heard it said that we should profile every Muslim man between the ages of 18-28. In a time when fear is the most common emotion in people, that would seem to be the correct course of action. In the past few years since 9/11, we've been told about countless terror attempts from disgruntled "Muslim men", many with "ties" to Al-Qaeda. On the surface, it's safe to say: "Profile them all" in the name of national security, but what would be the point? If profiling in the name of national security is the new fad, then let's inconvenience and harass YOU!

J.R. Junior made some great points about the questions that we should ask ourselves and others about what happened that day. I, for one, believe wholeheartedly that this was all set up to scare you into supporting the invasion of another sovereign nation in the name of terror. Only this time, support is based on speculation and the idea of lives lost, which is obviously scarier. Of course, this is going to run 24-7 all over the news channels and across the web. The problem is: the rhetoric which prompts profiling is much more heavily covered than all of the childish inconsistencies of the "story" we are being told.

Have we not learned anything from history? Do we even know history? Well, history has shown that profiling has very damaging effects especially when there is no reason for it--or in our case, reasons are made up for it. Who gets effected by this? Do you even care? Of course not. It's not you whom they are after. Most of us Americans don't fit that profile. But, what if you do? I actually kind of look like Mr. Abdulmutallab, and I'm a Marine Corps veteran. So, should I go through the same scrutiny even though I signed up to defend our country? There are so many scenarios against profiling that eventually it will not make sense.

But, the biggest point I want to make is that when--and I mean WHEN--profiling happens to every person in this country, you will finally realize that no one wants to take our freedoms away except for you. No one wants to bomb a plane because of two reasons: First, it's inconvenient to everyone including the "bombers". Secondly, once the investigation is complete, their families will be bombed themselves which defeats the whole purpose of and is not even the definition of terrorism.

The only bomb attempt that occurred on Christmas day was the one that went off in the minds of the American people. Profiling seems like a good idea when you aren't the target group. Once you realize that you actually are the target group, then maybe, you will understand that this is a war to make and take money from you; not a war on half-assed wanna-be terrorists.

Seriously? The threat of being blown up on an airplane scares you to a point that you basically ask for your rights and privilege of privacy to be revoked? There are more serious facets that will kill you that you actually fight to sustain. It is still illegal to have cheaper drugs that could save your life shipped to the U.S. from foreign nations; not because they're unsafe, but because it would be direct competition for bloodthirsty American companies. Factories release poisonous chemicals into the air, water, and soil are still causing illnesses, such as cancer, to residents of places like Mossville, Louisiana.

You are still fighting against the government regulating such practices, using b.s. terms like "government takeover", while accepting the average citizen being subjected to more regulation. You ask the government to spy on you and your family in an attempt to weed out "terrorists", yet it doesn't strike a nerve that the Federal Reserve still does not have to answer to the Federal government or undergo auditing. It doesn't bother you that the Pentagon's finances are so misconstrued that no one knows what is done with the trillions of dollars given to the Pentagon from the government from the money that was lent to the U.S. at interest.

You are concerned with the 1 in over 1,000,000,000,000 chance that a stupid kid who practices a different religion than yourself is going to blow up the airplane you may have boarded; even though you rarely fly. How about the thousands of trips you take to the various stores per year--avoiding the millions of car crashes to buy processed food with poisons injected into them (Let's not forget about the delicious alcohol and cigarettes you must pick up...)?

So, next time you're leaving the airport, finally firing up that cigarette, and thanking Jesus Christ that Ahmed Muhammed Hussein did not cause your plane to explode, make sure your seat belt is tightly strapped; Father Daniels may be receiving oral sex from a nine year old--distracted just enough to slam into your door at 45 miles per hour. So… Gen. McChrystal & others believe that a troop increase is needed to combat the growing Taliban insurgency. This tells me one of two things: The last eight years have been wasted, and the many men and women who have died have done so in vain. Or, the above assumption is false and is politically motivated. Supposedly, we have been fighting a war in Afghanistan since 2001 against the Taliban and in search of Usama Bin Laden, but we still haven’t found him; and, the Taliban is stronger than ever. So, I have come to the conclusion that the U.S. is not as powerful as she boasts to be. The U.S. intelligent agencies have failed, along with the United States’ military. When the Taliban was over five times the size it is now, the present U.S. and NATO forces were sufficient enough to construct a strong offensive against insurgency. But now that the total size of the Taliban is under 10,000, more troops are needed. Huh?

What am I missing? Is the war in Iraq over? Since the withdrawal of U.S. forces from major Iraqi cities, the media coverage of the Operation Iraqi Freedom has gone from diminished to demolished. The focus is now put on the episode in Afghanistan. So, the problem is never where the real trouble is; the problem is where the attention is. This is only a play by the powers that be (I.e. Robert Gates). The same way that George “What?” Bush used the media to convince us ignorant Americans to invade a country that posed no immediate or distant threat to the U.S. is being used, yet again, to escalate an un-winnable war in a country that was as stable as it has ever been--before having its government overthrown by foreign powers. That’s right. U.S. officials marveled at the fact that the Taliban was able to stable the area of Afghanistan after all of the turmoil it had gone through throughout the last century.

To thank them, we overthrew them, demolishing their infrastructure, and threw the people of Afghanistan into more impoverished conditions. Their military, what we call the Taliban today, was almost completely wiped out. That brings me to another question: Who makes up this “insurgency”? It is the children of the Taliban men who were killed or captured. It is the patriotic Afghani who has witnessed his living conditions gradually or abruptly deteriorate over the past years. It is the man who cannot feed his family, so he plants roadside bombs at $50 a pop (No pun intended).

A troop increase will never better the situation there. Our mere presence in the region is the fuel that ignites violence against U.S. troops. The more troops we send, the more ordinary Arab people become terrorists. Now, the motives that fuel “experts” to conclude that there is a need for a larger military presence is pure political and economical. With an increase in troops comes an increase in funding, an increase in defense contracts and defense contractor money, and pertinent industries. What better way to make money than by selling the U.S. government gear, weapons, and logistical support?

With the Republican Party owning a vast minority (haha… I swear I’m not taking sides.) in Congress, they have run out of tactics. Their “Trash Obama” campaign is not panning out as expected. I do believe that it has been rather entertaining though. The next tactic is to get “Barack O-Sambo” in a lose-lose situation. He can take the side of being against a troop increase, then Republicans can say, “He’s soft on terrorism.” or, “He’s costing the fine men and women of the military their lives.” If he agrees with the Republicans who constructed the plan and sides with increasing troops, then it becomes his war in much of the way that the war in Iraq is associated with Bush. Then, when we lose--or to save face, withdraw, thus losing--the blame is placed back on Democrats and Obama. And with an increase comes the need for more funding. If he decides to send additional military personnel, billions more of U.S. dollars will need to be spent. And, you and I know how much Republicans love to point out how much money Democrats are spending. So, by mid-2010 (that’s pronounced “twenty-ten“), when Republicans are gearing up to campaign for the presidency (Yes… It will be that early. It has already started. And, Sarah Palin is still in the front-running. Ugh! Sickening…), they can point out how large the national deficit has grown since “that Black man” has been in office.

There is no Taliban (Well, not in Afghanistan. Let‘s try Pakistan. Oh, we can‘t go there). There is no need to put more young Americans in harm’s way to fight a war they know nothing about. This is just YOUR government (Either party that’s involved in rhetoric is the government.) and YOUR media playing the games of politics and ratings at your expense. These “commanders” are being commanded by their political associations and own conquests for kickbacks in the name of special assignments and appointments. Your children are dying! Your children are dying! Your children are dying! While politicians are using our lives to play politics, you refuse to read the newspaper or watch news broadcasts because “It’s always bad news.” They are telling you what you need to know (if you read between the lies--that’s no typo), but you would rather be ignorant and blind… Open your… Wait! Well, well, well. Trying to steal my signature huh?? I'll let it slide this time because you are more than 100% correct. But, everyone should know me with my responses... I'm going to dance around your subject and make it all tie together. Where should we begin this time...? Oh! That's right!! 2001.

Not too long after 9/11 (actually 3 days after), we already knew how the whole thing was done; from the masterminds to the pilots and from the 3 years before when they were living with an FBI informant to being flight-trained at a military base.... Oh, not that part... Sorry! Anyway, my point is... We already pointed the finger at the Taliban. They even said that if we could provide the proof, then they would gladly cooperate and help look for Usama with us! Well, we never did give them the proof... Just some air strikes that did nothing but piss everybody in Afghanistan off. Hell, we even killed one of our own, a former NFL player, who voided his contract to fight this faux war. I would attack the U.S. if I was in Afghanistan, also. We bombed their country... and found nothing! What does that sound like???

The Troop Increase

This was something that was heavily debated during the 2008 election. How McCain was saying that the troop increase worked and he voted for it and Obama didn't and blah blah blah! Well it didn't work... Because we WITHDREW!!! No victory, a withdrawal. That was Bush's war, so Obama gets no credit (or blame) for that. Now we want to do the same thing. Hmmm... We've been there for 8 years, going on 9, we haven't found what we are looking for (if HE even exists anymore), and now we want to "protect" the people of Afghanistan from it's own GOVERNMENT!!! That's right; a GOVERNMENT, not a TERRORIST group.

Quick History Lesson:

Who was there for Afghanistan after the U.S. used them to beat the Soviet Union in 1989 and then left? The Taliban. Who stabilized a country deemed unstabilizable? The Taliban. So, then who are we to attack them based on pure speculation? When asked to provide proof to the Taliban and the U.S. citizens, there was stalling, hesitation and then a lack of evidence (no evidence to be exact!). Just some food for thought as I continue on!

The Political-Media Circus

The last 9 months have been a political poo-slinging fest. Who flings poo? A monkey. So from here on, I will call the conservative politicians monkeys (some good ol' reverse stereotyping)! The monkeys have blatantly disrupted health care reform, because if passed, the democrats would keep there overwhelming majority in both chambers of Congress. The monkeys have racially divided our country (AGAIN!!!), because that's the engine behind the health care assassination. Now, the monkeys are trying to use the fear of the Arab--mixed with the fear of losing, mixed with the 24-hour news conglomerates--to ensure a win in 2010 and 12. If this sounds like a group of people (sorry I mean monkeys) who are looking out for YOUR best interests, then you really need to leave reality TV alone and pick up a history book. I mean look at the news: SARAH PALIN IS SPEAKING TO THE CHINESE ABOUT REAGANOMICS, ONE OF THE MOST OPPRESSING ECONOMIC PLANS A PRESIDENT HAS EVER PASSED!!! The are so many oxymorons in that sentence that I feel like a moron for having to write it.

Phew! I'm almost exhausted from dodging all the SHIT!! As I look over to some of my fellow American citizens... They are completely covered in it... And like it! They want more. They don't even know what it is, but can't get enough of it. They are walking around reeking of it. They form their opinions from it. They teach their children about it. All the while... IT'S SHIT! MONKEY SHIT! I'm not saying that the Democrats are better, but they are at least trying to DO better. They are for damn sure ACTING better.

It was reported that President Obama supports extending some "un"-Patriot Act provisions. This seems to be a complete campaign contradiction and proof for some that Obama is just another former President Bush. This comes with other news that the administration is also going to extend the trade embargo with Cuba. Where is the change?

Maybe, Glenn Beck's 9/12 project is working. "Returning America to the way it was on 9/12!" Well, lets see: We are on the verge of a race war. We are continuing the Patriot Act. Trillions of dollars are being funneled from us to a few people, while we talk to President Carter about what Kanye did at the VMA's!! Enough is enough!

I am proud to say that my outlook on the election is proving to be true. I haven't really liked President Obama since he turned his back on Rev. Wright. No matter how you feel about the good Reverend, he made valid points that if Obama had agreed with... he might have lost the election, but shown some REAL change we could believe in. What does he do instead... rebuke his former pastor, get elected and do the same crap Bush did! Who looks like the ranting fool now.

The "un"-Patriot Act is pretty much the primer for the execution of the constitution because: "America's chickens have come home to roost!" He vowed in his campaign this was going to be history upon his election. Now we want to keep some of it? Keeping some of Bush's cabinet members was ban enough and keeping "un"-Patriot Act is just.... just.... unpatriotic!

Cuba is another issue. It's hard to talk about Cuba when people either don't know where it is, or think it's the devil because that's what they were told in school. Well, I'm going to give you the quickest history lesson never told. READY: Cuba is hated by our government because, the person who was in power before Castro let America rape the land of it's natural resources. Then in comes Castro trying to preserve the land, pushing the tycoons out of the country and in comes the trade embargoes, anti-communist propaganda, and missile crises which helped turn Cuba into an almost alienated third world country. Don't believe me...? Look it up.

So, this is what happens to a whole country if the United States doesn't get what it wants! Hmmm.... intriguing! So, out of pure speculation, I'm guessing Obama didn't like what Cuba had to say when he was trying to reach out to his Hispanic voters and have talks with Cuba. I guess they aren't able to re-rape the country for resources that we "desperately" need. Or maybe, it's another political move to distance himself from REAL change we can believe in!

I must say... I agree with you J-One. But, through my research of the history of this country, I have found that it is the politician's job to get people to vote for him. That is it. The way to survive and maintain a job is to get elected and re-elected. It is in the big corporations' interests to cast Cuba out of our markets based on the fact that the Cubans refuse to give more than what is given.

The absence of change is the reason we are still fully committed to the war in Afghanistan nearly 8 years after we invaded; and, we are still talking about increasing troop levels. This gives me an eerie experience of deja vu. Maybe this has happened not too long ago in a place called Iraq.

But, I do see an attempt at change: the whole health care debacle. A great opportunity to fight the powers (huge corporations). Telling these companies that you will no longer be allowed to make profit at the expense of millions of American's lives is a rather bold statement and a separative path away from the administration before. But, there is always a downside to being the "good politician"--if the term even exists or make sense. When you began to make attempts to cause any kind of impact on a company, you are asking for blow back. When their interests are at stake, corporations talk of layoffs immediately or how the changes will effect the economy negatively. And, a good politician does not want to hold the burden of pissed off constituents, because he still needs these people for election. In the instance of Rev. Wright, Obama was seeking election and his image was twisted negatively, so he did what he thought would improve his chances for election.

The system is not set up for people who want to put all of their ideas ahead of all else. Outside forces, actually, determine an official's votes and causes. Some of these outside forces are: lobbyists, polls & approval ratings, and of course, party affiliation. Lobbyists for corporations or causes lean on officials using vises of campaign contributions as well as the influences they have on voters. Officials want to stay on the people's good sides. They want to be liked; settling for the opposite could mean no election or re-election. Being affiliated with a particular party, also, stands in the way of change. The official is almost obligated to automatically oppose the other party's stance; this is a HUGE problem in the U.S. because of the two party dominance. Adopting another party's view can alienate the official from his or her own party. Political figures needs their own party's prominent figures for endorsements in elections as well as support for candidacy for higher posts and other billets.

In essence, an elected official must appeal to the mainstream. No minority is significant enough, unless that minority's power is enough to directly affect the mainstream. This has been Mr. Obama's position. He has, so far, ignored the issues of poverty, crime, and the justice system. Education reform has not yet really been introduced besides a talk to children. There has been no real debate introduced concerning immigration. And, when it comes to the colossal issue of race, President Barack avoids it or denies that there is a problem at all.

There have even been many instances of neglect. Small businesses have been forgotten about, but almost daily there is rhetoric concerning big businesses of Wall St. Troops are still put in harm's way to support the ideals of G.W. Bush and his followers & supporters. And, there is always talk about the American middle class. Issues that plague poor communities are put aside to appeal to the much larger middle class.

In conclusion, people in the system do not change the system; The system changes the people in it. The system cannot be changed, unless the system changes. Yes, we are in new times. Some things have changed. There is a first Black American president. All I say is... We have a new uniform. We have adopted a new mascot. But... We are playing the same game.
